Judge Edward Davila is a U.S. District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to being appointed to the federal bench by President Barack Obama in 2011, Judge Davila was a judge on the Superior Court of California for Santa Clara County for ten years. He also spent twenty years litigating in private practice and working as a Deputy Public Defender for the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. He is a graduate of UC Law SF.
